missing-715826I do not know if we are insane, or just really determined, but starting a new company in the economy has been so far, a success. The downside is, it has kept me very busy. The applications, add-ons and plugins we are creating, are very different and will bring a lot of functionality to Web applications.

The most difficult part of this has been making sure that they remain stand-alone and can be adapted across multiple platforms.

The easy part has been working with my partners. They say good things can come from bad situations, in this case, that is true. The dire situation that unfolded with the directory network I was working for introduced me to one of my partners while another situation unfolded, bringing an old friend back to become a second partner. Funny how things work out.

We are hoping to have a relaunch of our company’s Web site when we release all of the products, for now, we are keeping it pretty quite until we ‘get there.’

The excitement though, makes it hard not to blabber about all the neat stuff we are doing. While I like developing and extending existing Web applications and Web sites, it’s really cool to be able to release something that WE developed as our own.

Goal is, and has been, to get everything out before summer. I am really wanting, and in fact NEEDING to take some time off this summer. We are unsure exactly what our family vacation will include, or just where we will go, but whatever we do, it will NOT include any work.

Anyway, that’s where I have been, completely consumed by new business insanity.
