| One Comment | 217 views This phase of GeekyBitch.com is all new — meaning that you are going to start seeing a lot more of my personal posts and articles. I’ve made room for this site in my life and I am pretty excited about getting back into blogging.
However, in that past, even in the present and in the future, you will find content from other Websites. This “other” content is resources that I personally find to be of high quality and a great read. Some of this content is pulled in through RSS feeds, or posted directly by me.
HOWEVER — credit is ALWAYS given. Now, usually, the first portion of an article is posted. But since the launch of the new layout (literally two days ago) — I included a new plugin called “Autoblogged” and one of the feeds was configured to pull in the entire content. BUT, with the author’s name, source and link to their site. I don’t normally allow all of the content to be pulled in, usually I only post the first several paragraphs and then a link to the Author’s site that says “Continue Reading.” Or something close to that….
I, and about a billion other bloggers do this. It’s not uncommon and it’s not considered “theft.” A lot of people use RSS to pull in a portion of articles as a way of generating relevant and fresh content.
Nonetheless — I feel it’s important to mention that where I repost portions of other great content, credit and a link (when available) will always be provided. I don’t mind if you use any of my content — as long as you provide credit.
An example is here: http://www.geekybitch.com/blog/category/gamingmmorpgs/
I imagine all of this goes without saying… but, in case it doesn’t, there I said it.
Now, I have a few folks I have worked with over there years that have provided me with full permission to use any portion of their content. They know I will always provide credit. I plan on taking advantage of that since I know the wealth of knowledge these folks bring — I absolutely have NO interest in denying them proper credit.
The beauty of the web, and blogging, is networking and sharing.
Now that my little disclaimer is out of the way… keep your eyes on GeekyBitch.com. I plan on publishing as much of my own goodies in which I have collected the last decade as I can manage to publish in the next few months. After that, I’ll keep the current updates coming.

Why you even felt you had to post this? Worked with you for the better part of 8 years and I dont think I have ever seen you not do the right thing mamma.
Reposting is not new and like you said as along as you provide credit and some linkage!
Geeky bitch is going to be snap!
